Click the Request Leave Changes link to submit a request for time away from your job, such as personal time, professional leave, and vacation time and to view the approval status of current leave requests. The types of leave you can request match the types of leave assigned to you in the Alio HRS Payroll System.
Your leave request can exceed the Daily or Hourly leave currently available to you for the type of leave requested. However, a message will display warning you that you have exceeded your current leave availability.
Your system administrator is responsible for activating the types of leave you can request. If you are not authorized to submit leave requests, the Request Leave Changes link does not display on the Leave Summary page.
Before submitting a leaves request, you should know the following:
The lead time required when making the request. For example, you may be required to request professional leave 30 days in advance and personal time 14 days in advance.
The minimum amount of Daily leave or Hourly leave you can request. For example, if requesting vacation leave, you may be required to request a minimum amount of vacation days (half-day, full day, etc.). For personal time, you may be required to submit a request for a minimum of two hours.
A Request Historic Days value is assigned by the administrator to the leave request. If this value is greater than zero, you can submit a request for a past leave. You must enter your past leave request within that number of days.
If your organization has granted permission to enter a Duration of Days value greater than the requested date range when submitting a daily leave request.
