Click the Leaves link to review your current, past, and future scheduled leave records. Leave records posted in Alio and finalized but not posted in Alio will display. Leave is any time away from work that is not considered part of the job. Examples of leaves are vacation, illness, bereavement, and jury duty.
There are two types of leave: earn/usage leave and tracking leave. Earn/usage leave is leave that you earn and use on a regular basis, for example, personal, vacation, and illness. Tracking leave is leave that is tracked for record keeping purposes but not earned, for example, bereavement and jury duty.
You can view a calendar that shows a picture of your past, current, and future scheduled leave days. If applicable to your leave policy, weekend calendar days are highlighted on the Leave Calendar when an employee takes leave on a weekend day.
You can filter the Leave Balances grid and calendar by Leave Type.
You can submit a personal leave request and, with the proper authority, submit a leave request by proxy for another employee.
Your LINQ EP administrator may grant you permission to submit leave requests based on your organization's personnel policies.
