General Information |
Use the General Information area at the top of the Leave Request Setup page to type a message to your employees that can display on the selected request page. This message may include additional directions to completing a request, school policy notices, or any other type of message. You can enter a different message for each request page. You have option to display or not display the general information for the request. You can also change this message at any time. To define the leave request system options:

User-defined |
Allow employee to enter leave request time greater than date range |
Click this check box to allow employees to enter a Duration in Days value that exceeds the entered leave request date range when submitting a daily leave request. Your organization may want to use this option if your employees' work week changes to a 4-day work week (10 hours per day during the summer months). Leave this check box clear to not allow employees to enter a Duration in Days value that exceeds the entered leave request date range. |
Check box is not selected |
Allow previous employee job to be used if active job is not found on Leave Start Date |
Click this check box to use the leave request date to select the active job to which a leave request applies. If a current active job record is not found for the leave request date entered, the employee's last active job record is used to determine the approval group to which the employee belongs so that the request is correctly routed. This allows the employee to request leave for the next school year. Leave this check box clear to select the active job to which the leave applies. If the employee does not have an active job as of the leave request date, the employee is prevented from entering the leave request. |
Check box is not selected |
Proxy Type |
The Proxy Type field
displays directly below the General
Information section. Click the Drop
Down Arrow button
When a proxy leave request is entered, the employee receives an e-mail notification message that a request was entered on their behalf, and Alio is updated the same as a regular leave request when it is finalized. |
