Viewing Demographic Request Details

Click a Request Date link in the Request History grid to view the corresponding request's details along with the approval chain information. The page the displays depends on the type of request selected:

The Comments field displays only if the LINQ EP administrator grants permission to submit an emergency contact request that will change the comments currently stored in Alio.

The Direct Deposit Print field displays only if the SHOW_DIRECT_DLINQ EPOSIT_OPTIONS profile key is set to Y in Alio and the Direct Deposit Print option is selected by the administrator.

You can cancel the request if the status of the request is Pending.

Text displayed in Red identifies the information that the employee has requested be added or changed.

Approval Process Grid

The Approval Process grid displays at the bottom of the page. This grid lists each step of the approval process, its status, and comments. Use this grid to track the progress of your request.

The approvers are sequenced from highest level to lowest level, with the final approver at the top of the grid.

Column Heading

Description

Date

This column lists the date the request was approved or denied. This column is blank if the request has not been processed.

Approver

This column lists the names of the approvers at this level.

Status

This column lists the current approval status of the request: Pending, Approved, Rejected, Cancelled, and Final Approved.

Comments

This column lists any comments to the employee that were entered by the approver.

Canceling a Pending Demographic Request

Follow these steps to cancel a pending Demographic Request.

  1. Click the Request Changes link on the Home page. The Demographic Request Queue displays.

  2. In the Request History grid, click the Request Date link that corresponds to the request to be cancelled. The request must have a pending status. The [Request Type] Request Details page displays, where [Request Type] is General Demographics, Dependents, or Emergency Contact.

  3. Review the details to make sure you selected the correct request.

  4. Click the button to cancel the request. A confirmation message displays: "Click OK to cancel this request. This cannot be undone."

  5. Click the button to confirm the cancel operation. An e-mail message is sent to the applicable approvers to notify them that the user canceled the request.
