Active benefits in which you are currently enrolled. A benefit is a program with a related payroll deduction , such as a charitable donation or loan payment, that is usually optional.
Active deductions currently withheld from your pay. A deduction is a formal plan offered by your organization that may or may not have a related payroll deduction. Examples of deductions include health insurance plans, dental plans, vision plan, and life insurance. You may or may not be required to enroll in one or more of these deductions.
Benefit/deduction adjustments. The adjustments are indented directly below the related benefit or deduction.
All past, current, and future benefits and payroll deductions.
You may also submit the following requests:
Benefit request to end your participation in a benefit plan, enroll in a new benefit plan, and change the premium for a benefit plan.
Deduction request to discontinue a plan deduction, enter a new plan deduction, or change the deduction amount for a plan.
Your LINQ EP system administrator may grant you permission to submit deduction and benefit requests based on your organization's personnel policies.

The grid associated with each view displays the following information.

Plan |
The Plan column displays the deduction/benefit code, plan description and plan code. |
Amount |
The Amount column displays the deduction or benefit amount. If the Amount has an associated calculation method (for example, Tax Table), the calculation method will display in place of the dollar amount. |
Percent |
The Percent column displays the percentage used to calculate the deduction or benefit amount. If the Percent has an associated calculation method (for example, Tax Table), the calculation method will display in place of the percentage. |
Amount YTD |
The Amount YTD column displays the total benefit or deduction withheld from the employee's pay for the year-to-date. |
Start Date |
The Start Date column displays the date the deduction or benefit started for the employee. Some deductions or benefits may not have start dates. |
End Date |
The End Date column displays the date the deduction or benefit ended for the employee. Some deductions or benefits may not have end dates. |
