Request Deduction Changes

If available, click the Request Deduction Changes link to submit a request to:

  • Discontinue a plan

  • Enter a new plan

  • Change the deduction amount for a plan

Your LINQ EP system administrator may grant you permission to submit changes to your current deduction plans based on your organization's personnel policies.

Submitting a Deduction Request

Request Benefit Changes

If available, click the Request Benefit Changes link to submit a request to:

  • End your participation in a benefit plan

  • Enroll in a new benefit plan

  • Change the premium for a benefit plan

Click the All Benefits link to list your current, future, and expired benefit packages in the All Benefits grid.

Click the Active Benefits link to list your current benefit packages  in the Active Benefits grid.

All Deductions

Click the All Deductions link to list your current, future, and expired payroll deductions  in the All Deductions grid.

Active Deductions

Click the Active Deductions link to list your current payroll deductions in the Active Deductions grid.

Deductions and Benefits Grid Field Definitions

The grid associated with each view displays the following information.

Column Heading

Definition

Plan

The Plan column displays the deduction/benefit code, plan description and plan code.

Amount

The Amount column displays the deduction or benefit amount. If the Amount has an associated calculation method (for example, Tax Table), the calculation method will display in place of the dollar amount.

Percent

The Percent column displays the percentage used to calculate the deduction or benefit amount. If the Percent has an associated calculation method (for example, Tax Table), the calculation method will display in place of the percentage.

Amount YTD

The Amount YTD column displays the total benefit or deduction withheld from the employee's pay for the year-to-date.

Start Date

The Start Date column displays the date the deduction or benefit started for the employee. Some deductions or benefits may not have start dates.

End Date

The End Date column displays the date the deduction or benefit ended for the employee. Some deductions or benefits may not have end dates.
