The Endorsement for Certificate grid displays the following information.

Definition |
Endorsement Type 1 |
The Endorsement Type 1 displays additional credentials that apply to a certificate, such as an elementary education teaching certificate that includes a substitute teaching endorsement. The Endorsement Type 1 code is appended at the end of the Endorsement Type 1 description, enclosed in parenthesis. |
Endorsement Type 2 |
The Endorsement Type 2 displays an additional endorsement type that is required for this endorsement. The Endorsement Type 2 code is appended at the end of the Endorsement Type 2 description, enclosed in parenthesis. |
Level |
The Level identifies the level of schooling that the employee who received the certificate is endorsed to teach, for example, the subject of math at the high school level. |
Subject |
The Subject identifies the area of educational emphasis, such as French, History, Math, Physical Education, or Science. The Subject Code is appended to the end of the Subject description, enclosed in parenthesis. |
From |
The From Date is the date that this endorsement became active. |
To |
The To Date is the date that this endorsement will expire. |
Expires In |
Expires In is the number of days before an endorsement will expire. This number is calculated by subtracting the current date from the expiration date. For example, if an endorsement is due to expire on 12/31/2019, and the current date is 7/01/2018, the endorsement will expire in 184 days. Expired displays for an endorsement that is past its expiration date. |
