Touring the Certificates Page

Click the Certificates link to view the certification and endorsement records attached to your electronic personnel file. You can view both active and expired certifications. The Certificate page defaults to the Active Certificates view.

You can click a Certificate No link to view the endorsements related to that certification, if available.

Expired Certificates

Click the Expired Certificates link to list expired certification records. A certificate is expired when the expiration date is prior or equal to today's date.

All Certificates

Click the All Certificates link to list active and expired certificate records.

Active Certificates

Click the Active Certificates link to list current certificate records. A certificate is active when the expiration date is greater than today's date.

Certificates Grid Field Definitions

The grid associated with each view displays the following information.

Definition

Certificate No

The Certificate No identifies the certification record. If the Certificate No is blue, you can click the number to list the endorsements related to that certificate.

Certificate Type

The Certificate Type is used to categorize the certifications earned by the employee. Examples of certification types include Permanent teaching certificate, Temporary teaching certificate, and Substitute teaching certificate.

Certificate Level

The Certificate Level identifies the level of schooling that the employee is certified to teach, for example, math at the secondary level.

Received Date

The Received Date is the date the employee received the certificate.

Expiration Date

The Expiration Date is the date that the certificate will expire or did expire.

Expires In

Expires In is the number of days before a certificate will expire. This number is calculated by subtracting the current date from the expiration date. For example, if a certificate is due to expire on 12/31/2012, and the current date is 7/01/2012, the certificate will expire in 184 days.
