Use the Request Direct Deposit Changes page to submit a request to add, change or delete a direct deposit record. You can make a direct deposit to any bank that currently exists in the Alio Bank Routing Master table. If your bank is not in this table, you can request the bank be added to the table, if this option is available.
The Direct Deposit Requests grid displays a list of your existing direct deposit records.

Bank |
This column displays the bank name and routing number associated with each direct deposit record. Click this link to display the associated direct deposit record. |
Account |
This column displays the last four-digits of the account number to which the direct deposit is made. The preceding digits in the account number are masked by the asterisk (*) character (e.g., *******2489). |
Start Date |
This column displays the date the direct deposit started, if applicable. |
End Date |
This column displays the date the direct deposit ended, if applicable. |
Type |
This column displays the account type, such as savings, check, money market, etc. |
Amount |
This column displays the amount of the employee's pay currently deposited to each account, if applicable. |
Percent |
This column displays the percentage of the employee's pay deposited an each account, if applicable |

Click the Delete button to submit a request to delete a direct deposit record. |
Click the link to
submit a request to add a direct deposit record.
To submit the request:
Click the Request Direct Deposit Changes link on the Payroll page. The Direct Deposit Requests page displays.
Click the New Request link to display the Direct Deposits grid.
Click the
link above the Direct Deposits
grid to display the Direct Deposit
Change Request page with all fields blank.
The message displayed in the General Information area is entered by the LINQ EP administrator. This message may change so it is important to read the message each time you make a request. |
The New Bank? field defaults to No. Leave this setting unchanged to submit a direct deposit request for a bank that already exists in the Alio Bank Routing Master.
Click here for instructions to submit a request to add a bank record to the Alio Bank Routing Master along with your direct deposit request. You may or may not have access to this option depending on your organization's business practices. Contact your system administrator for further information. |
In the Bank
Name field, click the Drop
Down List button
to select the name of the bank where the account is located. The associated
Bank Routing No will display.
Or
In the Bank
Routing No field, click the Drop
Down List button
to select the routing number for the bank where the account is located.
The associated Bank Name will
display.
In the Account Number field, type the number identifying the account where you want to deposit the pay allocation. You can enter up to 17 alphanumeric characters.
In the Account
Type field, click the Drop
Down List button
to select the type of account where you want to deposit the pay allocation.
Your choices are Checking,
Savings, Other,
Checking Debit, and Savings Debit.
In the Start
Date field, click the Show
Calendar button to select the date this
direct deposit will start; or type the date in MMDDYYYY format. You
can select a Start Date that
is equal to or greater than today's date; however, you cannot enter
a request with a Start Date
prior to today's date.
Optionally, in the End Date field, click the Show Calendar button
to select the date this direct deposit will
stop; or type the date in MMDDYYYY format. Leave the End
Date blank to keep the direct deposit active until further
notice.
In the Amount field, type the dollar amount you want to deposit to the account in 9999999.99 format or in the Percent field type the percentage of your pay you want deposited to the account in 9999.999 format.
If you are depositing your pay to multiple accounts, the total deposited cannot exceed the check amount. |
In the Comments area, type comments to the approver about this request.
Click to select one of the following options:
E-mail me each step of the approval process radio button to receive an e-mail notification each time the request is approved.
E-mail me only on the final step of the approval process radio button to receive an e-mail notification only when your request receives final approval.
Do not e-mail me about this request radio button to not receive any e-mail notification about the approval status of your request.
Click the
button to submit your request. If the E-mail
me each step of the approval process radio button is selected,
you will receive an automated e-mail that contains the request details
and its current status (pending).
The request is automatically routed to the first approver in the approval chain.
Click a Bank link in the Direct Deposits grid to submit a request to change a direct deposit record.
To submit the request:
Click the Request Direct Deposit Changes link on the Payroll page. The Direct Deposit Requests page displays.
Click the New Request link to display the Direct Deposits grid.
In the Direct Deposits grid, click the Bank link that corresponds to the direct deposit record to be changed. The Direct Deposit Change Request page displays the details currently on file for that direct deposit.

Make the necessary changes to the information displayed.

In the Comments area, type comments to the approver about this request.
Click to select one of the following options:
E-mail me each step of the approval process radio button to receive an e-mail notification each time the request is approved.
E-mail me only on the final step of the approval process radio button to receive an e-mail notification only when your request receives final approval.
Do not e-mail me about this request radio button to not receive any e-mail notification about the approval status of your request.
Click the
button to submit your request. If the E-mail
me each step of the approval process radio button is selected,
you will receive an automated e-mail that contains the request details
and its current status (pending).
The request is automatically routed to the first approver in the approval chain.
Use the Delete button to submit
a request to remove a direct deposit record.
Click the Request Direct Deposit Changes link on the Payroll page. The Direct Deposit Requests page displays.
Click the New Request link to display the Direct Deposits grid.
In the Direct
Deposits grid, click the Delete
button that corresponds to the direct deposit record
to be removed. The Delete Request
page displays.
Optionally, type the reason for stopping the direct deposit.
Click to select one of the following options:

E-mail me only on the final step of the approval process radio button to receive an e-mail notification only when your request receives final approval.
