Modifying an Employee Document Record

Replacing an Existing Employee Document

Use the Upload A File page in Edit mode to replace an employee document uploaded previously.

  1. Click the Document Type Drop Down List button to select the document type from the list. The Employe Documents grid is refreshed to show only employee documents assigned the selected document type.

  2. Click the Edit icon that corresponds to the employee document record to be changed. The Upload A File page displays.

  3. Click the button to select the file to be uploaded from the folder where the employee document is stored.

  4. In the Comment field, type a comment about the employee document, if applicable.

  5. Click the button to upload the employee document. The employee document uploaded previously is replaced by this document in the secure document storage location even if the employee document name has changed. When the save process is complete, the page is closed and the Employee Documents grid is refreshed.

Updating Comments for a Document Record

Use the Upload A File page in Edit mode to add comments or change existing comments that apply to the uploaded employee document.

  1. Click the Document Type Drop Down List button to select the document type from the list. The Employee Documents grid is refreshed to show only documents assigned the selected document type.

  2. Click the Edit icon that corresponds to the document record to be changed. The Upload A File page displays.

  3. In the Comment field, type a comment about the document, if applicable.

  4. Click the button to update the document record, close the page and refresh the Employee Documents grid.
