Modifying a Table Tag

Changing the Table Tag Name and Description

Follow these steps to change the attributes of a table tag, such as the Tag Name, Tag Description, and Table Tag format options.

  1. On the Contracts page, click the Tags tab.

  2. Optionally,  click the Filter icon to display the filter criteria boxes. Use the Filter boxes to search for the tag to be changed.

  3. In the Tags grid, click the Edit icon that corresponds to the table tag to be changed. The Add/Edit Tag page appears with the General tab selected.

  4. If applicable, change to the Tag Name and/or Tag Description.

  5. Click the button to save the change. The Contracts page appears.

Changing the Table Tag Attributes

Follow these steps to modify the Table Tag form, add and/or change Column Tags, and to reorganize the Column Headers.

  1. On the Contracts page, click the Tags tab.
  2. Optionally,  click the Filter icon to display the filter criteria boxes. Use the Filter boxes to search for the tag to be changed.

  3. In the Tags grid, click the Edit icon that corresponds to the table to be changed. The Add/Edit Tag page appears with the General tab selected.

  4. Click the Table Tag tab displayed, i.e., Benefit Table, Job Table, or User Defined Table.

  5. Make the required changes:

Click the button to save the change.

  1. When finished, click the button to save the change.

Inactivating a Table Tag

Follow these steps to inactivate a table tag to exclude that table tag from the contracts to which it is attached. The warning message "The [Tag] tag for the [Tag Name] tag has been inactivated, however, the following active contract templates are using the [Tag] tag for [Tag Name] tag: [Contract Templates]" will display if the inactivated table tag is used in one or more contract templates.

LINQ recommends removing the inactive table tag from the applicable contract templates. If not removed, an unmerged tag will display in its place.

  1. On the Contracts page, click the Tags tab.
  2. Optionally,  click the Filter icon to display the filter criteria boxes. Use the Filter boxes to search for the tag to be inactivated.

  3. In the Tags grid, click the Edit icon that corresponds to the table tag to be inactivated. The Add/Edit Tag page appears with the General tab selected.

  4. Click yo clear the Active check box.

  5. Click the button to save the change.
