Managing Employee News

Use the Employee News page to broadcast a message to the employees. This message displays in the System Messages panel of the Home page. For example, you can broadcast a welcome message to employees that are new to the LINQ EP or a message telling employees about scheduled system maintenance.

A user can access the Employee News page only if the user role assigned to that user has security rights to News.

You can access the Employee News page from the Admin Home page

Broadcasting a Message to your Employees

To broadcast a message to employees:

  1. On the Employee News page, type the message to the employees in the Edit News text box.

  2. Optionally, format the message text using the Rich Text Controls.

  3. Spell check the message.

  4. Click the button.
