Customizing the Demographic Request Queue

Click the Demographics Request Setup system options to customize the Demographics Request Queue to match your organization's business practices. Based on these security settings, your employees may use the Demographics Request Queue to submit:

Use the General Information area at the top of the Demographic Request Setup page to type a message to your employees that can display on the selected request page. This message may include additional directions to completing a request, school policy notices, or any other type of message. You can enter a different message for each request page.

You have option to display or not display the general information for the request. You can also change this message at any time.

Setting the Demographic Request Options

Follow these steps to set the Demographic Request Queue options.

  1. Click the Request Setup link on the Admin Home page.

  2. Click the Request Type Drop Down List button and select Demographics from the list. The Demographics Request Setup page appears.

  3. Optionally, type a general message to your employees. Click here for more details of the General Information area.

  4. Click to select the Display Demographic General Information check box to display the message on the corresponding request page in LINQ EP.

  5. In the Allow requests for the following list, click the check box that corresponds to each demographic request option available to your employees along with the default setting. The following table explains each option.

Name Changes

Click to select this check box to allow your employees to submit a request to change their first, middle, or last name.

Click to clear this check box to prevent your employees from submitting a request to change their first, middle, or last name.

Address Changes

Click to select this check box to allow your employees to submit a request to change their mailing address.

Click to clear this check box to prevent your employees from submitting a request to change their mailing address.

Telephone Changes

Click to select this check box to allow your employees to submit a request to change their personal or work phone numbers.

Click to clear this check box to prevent your employees from submitting a request to change their personal or work phone numbers.

Click to select this check box to allow your employees to submit a request to change their personal or work e-mail address.

Click to clear this check box to prevent your employees from submitting a request to change their personal or work e-mail address.

W2 Print

Click to select this check box to display the W2 Print check box on the Demographic Request page. If displayed, an employee may submit a request to receive a printed W-2 Form or an electronic W-2 Form that the employee may print.

Direct Deposit Print

Click to select this check box to  display the Direct Deposit Print List of Values (LOV) on the General Demographic Request page when the SHOW_DIRECT_DLINQ EPOSIT_OPTIONS profile key is set to Y in Alio.

Leave this check box clear to hide the Direct Deposit Print List of Values (LOV) on the General Demographic Request page even when the SHOW_DIRECT_DLINQ EPOSIT_OPTIONS profile key is set to Y in Alio.

The Direct Deposit Print check box does not display when the SHOW_DIRECT_DLINQ EPOSIT_OPTIONS profile key is set to N in Alio.

Emergency Contact Changes

Click to select this check box to allow your employees to submit a request to change an emergency contact or to add another emergency contact.

Click to clear this check box to prevent your employees from submitting a request to change an emergency contact or to add another emergency contact.

Display Emergency Comments

Click to select this check box to allow you employees to submit a request to add or change emergency contact comments that display in Alio and on the My Personal Card, if allowed by your administrator. The Comments field will display on the Add Emergency Contact Request Details page and the Additional Comments and Current Comments fields will display on the Emergency Contact Change Request page.

Click to clear this check box to prevent the employee from submitting a request to change emergency contact comments in Alio.

Dependents - Add New

Click to select this check box to allow your employees to submit a request to change a dependent record.

Click to clear this check box to prevent your employees from submitting a request to change a dependent record.

Dependents - Edit

Click to select this check box to allow your employees to submit a request to add a dependent record.

Click to clear this check box to prevent your employees from submitting a request to add a dependent record.

ACA Print

Click to select this check box to display the ACA Print check box on the Demographic Request page. If displayed, an employee may submit a request to receive a printed 1095C Form or an electronic 1095C Form that the employee may print.
