Follow these steps to customize a e-mail notification message.
Click the E-mail Setup link on the Admin Home page.
At the bottom of the page, click the link that corresponds to the e-mail message you want to customize. The E-mail Customization page appears.
The name and purpose of the outgoing e-mail message displays at the top of the page. Items removed from the e-mail templates may compromise the functionality of the application. For example, removing the Request List in the Approver Reminder Notification E-mail will negate the purpose of this e-mail. |
Make the necessary changes to the Subject and Body of the e-mail.
To insert a predefined tag:
Position your cursor where you want to insert the tag.
In the Tag
list, click the Drop Down List
button to select the tag to be inserted. This list
is filtered based on the e-mail message to be modified. You can view
a list of the custom tags in the following tables: Account
E-mail Tags table, Request E-mail Tag table,
and Reminder E-mail Tag table.
Click the
button.
When your changes are
complete, click the button to view the e-mail
message in a Preview page.
The e-mail tags are replaced with the
preview values.

Use the Preview page to proofread the e-mail message, verifying that the changes you made are correct. |
Click the Close button to close the Preview page.
Click the
button to save the e-mail. The message “Email saved” appears at the
top of the page.
