Use the Leave Request Setup system options to customize the Leaves Request Queue by:
Defining the request lead time, minimum days allowed, minimum hours allowed, and minimum number of days an employee can submit a leave request after leave has been taken for each leave code in the Alio Leave Master table.
Optionally, defining a default contract year used when finalizing requests.
Automatically selecting the employee’s primary job when finalizing a leave request, if the default contract year is entered on the Leaves tab and LINQ EP is set to display primary job flags.
Defining the types of leave that your employees may request. Optionally, you can type instructions that the employee should follow when submitting a leave request for the selected leave type.
If applicable, identifying a leave type as a tracking leave. Tracking leaves are not accrued but they are recorded in Alio. Examples of tracking leaves include jury duty, military leave, and family medical leave (FMLA).
Creating department leave calendars to allow employee approvers and administrators to view approved and pending requests in a calendar-style view. You can access this leave calendar from the Request Queue and when viewing an individual leave request.
Your employees use the Leaves Request Queue to request a leave of absence from the organization and, if the employee is an approver, to view and approve pending requests for assigned employees.
